Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club
Megan joined the Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club in the fall of 2012. She joined this club because of the powerful impact it has on the community.
Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club is a community service organization that strives to enrich our community, the lives of our members and their families. HJWC’s mission is to offer members a network of resources and opportunities; and serve as a leader of volunteer and philanthropic service.
Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club Charitable Foundation seeks to identify, support and financially contribute to charities and organizations in need. Since being a member of HJWC, Megan has worked with Hephzibah House, an orphanage and foster home in Oak Park. For the past two years, Jrs has teamed up with Bridge Communities in DuPage County. Bridge provides free transitional housing to 128 homeless DuPage County families; teaching them skills they need to be able to live self-sufficient.

Hinsdale Historical Society Women’s Board
With her love of architecture and preserving the Village she calls home, Hinsdale Historical Society Women’s Board was a natural fit for Megan. She became an active member in 2013 and hasn’t looked back, including co-chairing the Hinsdale Cooks! Kitchen Walk two years in a row.
The Hinsdale Historical Society Women’s Board is a volunteer service organization dedicated to support the Hinsdale Historical Society and its mission to collect, preserve and promote the history of Hinsdale, Illinois. Our goal is to foster an awareness and appreciation of Hinsdale history and architecture through fundraising, education, programs, and exhibits.
The Women's Board's primary fundraiser is the annual Hinsdale Cooks! Kitchen Walk, which offers guests a tour of Hinsdale's most fabulous kitchens. Historical landmarks, including the Hinsdale History Museum, Immanuel Hall and the R. Harold Zook Home and Studio are protected and maintained, in large, by funds raised by this event.
